Diwali
vacations! The time to burst crackers, to meet relatives, to go on a tour and
lots more fun! I got my Diwali vacation on 31 of October. As soon as I got it,
we went to Bhavnagar to celebrate Diwali. There, I burst crackers and had a lot
of fun. On 6th of November, as we had planned departed for our tour
to Andaman and Nicobar Islands at early morning 4:45. By auto rickshaw, we
reached the kalupur railway station, Ahmadabad and we had a double Decker train
to Mumbai timed at 6.
The train had
already been ready on the platform and so we went inside it. It reached at
Mumbai at about 1. There, by taxi, we went to the airport via the worli sea
link-a bridge which has been constructed to overcome or reduce the traffic problem
of Mumbai.
At the
airport after checking in to terminal 1 there was lots of time to pass as our
flight was at about 9. At 6, the security check that checks the luggage and the
pockets etc and lets to go further towards the gate where the flight would be
boarded from. That place was very marvelous and royal. It seemed as if it was
a shopping mall. So clean, and glorious! There we waited for two to 3 hours and
the boarded our flight. The normal way of boarding is either to go through a
long box like structure that direct leads to flight gate, or by a bus that
takes us to the gate of the plane. Here, we had to pass the box like structure
and directly, we are inside the flight with air hostess welcoming us with a
typical “Namashkaar” or “Welcome”. Then we entered our Air India flight. It was
just as a luxurious A/C bus and nothing more.
